At the end of the Valser alpine valley, at 1400 m altitude, a narrow, three kilometre long serpentine road leas up to the Fane Alm, the mountain pasture. After the one-hour climb, the tobogganists reach the delightful Fane-Alm (1,739 m) with the small church and the quaint huts, surrounded by the wildly romantic mountain scenery. Two of these huts serve meals and refreshments. The run of around 3 km and nearly 300 m difference in altitude lets the tobogganists’ hearts beat faster. On Wednesdays, a part of the toboggan run is floodlit and spontaneous minds can rent a toboggan from the Kurzkofelhütte.
Small toboggan runs for children are available in Vals in the Children’s Park of the Ski School Jochtal, you can also slide in tyres there.
